WHS DEEP – All 104 Workplace Happiness Standard Requirements Explained

The Workplace Happiness Standard (WHS) defines 104 auditable requirements that enable organisations to manage workplace happiness as a structured, evidence-based, and system-compatible domain.
To make these requirements more accessible and easier to apply in practice, we launched the WHS DEEP LinkedIn series.
WHS DEEP stands for Data, Evidence & Everyday Practice.
Across 52 weeks, we publish two posts per week, each focusing on one specific WHS requirement. Every post translates the formal standard language into practical understanding, while staying grounded in scientific evidence and Quality Management System (QMS) logic.
What you’ll find here
Each WHS DEEP post provides:
- a clear, plain-language explanation of one WHS requirement
- the scientific models and theories behind it
- key empirical findings that support the requirement
- a concrete idea for how the requirement can be anchored in a Quality Management System
The goal is not motivation or inspiration alone, but clarity, applicability, and system-level thinking.
If you are not only interested in understanding the requirements, but also in implementing them in practice, you can book a conversation with our team at any time.
