Yes, the survey is 100% free.
The Workplace Happiness Institute is a non-profit organization with a simple mission: to help every organization create a workplace where people are happy and want to stay. And that begins with understanding where things stand today.
We do offer paid services like implementation support and certification. These help us cover infrastructure and ensure fair salaries – but the diagnostic survey itself and the Workplace Happiness Standard are, and will remain, free of charge.

Are the surveys anonymous?
Yes, 100%. No personal identifiers are collected.
We use secure, third-party systems to protect anonymity and ensure employees feel safe giving honest feedback.

How is confidentiality handled when segmenting survey results?
The results can be segmented by department – but only when a group includes five or more individuals. This ensures no one can trace answers back to individuals, protecting anonymity and building trust.

How long does it take to complete a survey?
The full survey is usually completed within less than 30 minutes.

What happens after the survey?
Shortly after the survey we will present the results and you get a detailed report – free of charge.
You’re free to use the survey insights however you like. You can take the results and reflect on them internally, or continue by implementing the Workplace Happiness Standard – on your own or with our guidance.
